چکیده
Mica is a group of clay minerals that are frequently used to fabricate electrical and thermal insulators as adsorbents for the treatment cationic pollutants. However, conventional subtractive manufacturing has drawback poor three-dimensional (3D) shape control, which limits its application. In this study, we propose digital light processing (DLP)-based additive (AM) one most effective ways address drawback. Two major challenges ceramic DLP process production homogeneous stable slurry with required rheological properties maintenance printing precision. The mica green body was fabricated using 53 vol.% solid loading through DLP, exhibited good dimensional resolution under an exposure energy dose 10 mJ/cm2. precise, complex 3D structure maintained without any defects after debinding sintering at 1000 °C. use AM overcome shape-control limitations demonstrated in study offers great potential expanding applications mica.

متن کاملModeling and Fabrication of Heterogeneous Three-dimensional Objects based on Additive Manufacturing
Heterogeneous object modeling and fabrication has been studied in the past few decades. Recently the idea of digital materials has been demonstrated by using Additive Manufacturing (AM) processes. Our previous study illustrated that the mask-image-projection based Stereolithography (MIP-SL) process is promising in fabricating such heterogeneous objects. In the paper, we present an integrated fr...

Three-dimensional structures prepared from a gold-polymer composite formulation have been fabricated using multiphoton lithography. In this process, gold nanoparticles were simultaneously formed through photoreduction whilst polymerisation of two possible monomers was promoted. The monomers, trimethylopropane triacrylate (TMPTA) and pentaerythritol triacrylate (PETA) were mixed with a gold salt...

Fabricating entire systems with both electrical and mechanical content through on-demand 3D printing is the future for high value manufacturing. In this new paradigm, conformal and complex shapes with a diversity of materials in spatial gradients can be built layer-by-layer using hybrid Additive Manufacturing (AM). A design can be conceived in Computer Aided Design (CAD) and printed on-demand. ...
متن کاملOne-step volumetric additive manufacturing of complex polymer structures
Two limitations of additive manufacturing methods that arise from layer-based fabrication are slow speed and geometric constraints (which include poor surface quality). Both limitations are overcome in the work reported here, introducing a new volumetric additive fabrication paradigm that produces photopolymer structures with complex nonperiodic three-dimensional geometries on a time scale of s...
